MUAN DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION (MDO)

The MUAN Development Organization (MDO) is a newly established, grassroots, non-profit local non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to fostering long-term regional development, structural resilience, and inclusive socio-economic transformation within the Oromia Regional State and across Ethiopia. This strategic master project proposal sets forth the overarching institutional framework, operational strategy, and five-year plan (2026–2031) of MDO as it completes its formal licensing and registration with the Oromia Attorney General. Governed by strict mandates of political and religious neutrality, MDO champions a genuinely community-led development model, ensuring that regional interventions are entirely owned, managed, and sustained by the local communities they are designed to benefit.
